Our collections are like chapters of a single tome, distinct but communicating, like the multiple narratives that form one complete story. Following on from the fugues of Avantgarde, here’s a chance to take a breath, and return to the essential, escaping the festive clamour of shapes and colours to isolate a single form and whisper a new concept. This collection springs from a digression on frames: deprived of an image, what protagonists might they themselves become? Distilled quadrangles nimbly betray every regularity, yawing and stretching their dimensions. Geometries meet and intersect, their illusory perspectives a show of incongruous logic, as distant to the rational as they are proximate to fantasy.

Frame is a newly-emerged idea, that’s already showing prowess.
